As many as 57 kindergarten students visited Taman Pintar Berlalu Lintas (Smart Traffic Park) in Tebet Timur Urban Village, Tebet, South Jakarta. In this study tour, children learned about orderly traffic, both in theory and practice.

Moreover, we also introduced them to South Jakarta Sudinhub's tow truck

"We teach them how to cross the road, wear helmet, wear seat belt, and also educate them about sanctions for violating the traffic rules," stated Budi Setiawan, Head of South Jakarta Transportation Sub-department (Sudinhub), Wednesday (1/22).

During study tour, those students were accompanied by 10 Tebet Sudinhub Unit. He assessed, traffic signs and infrastructures should be introduced to children at early age thus positive habits could be implemented well when they are adult.

"It is related to road safety. Moreover, we also introduced them to South Jakarta Sudinhub's tow truck," he added.

Meanwhile, South Jakarta Sudinhub's Operational Control Section Head, Leo Amstrong Manalu assessed, parent's role is also important in educating their children.

"Hopefully, parents can remind their children to prioritize their safety on the road," he stated.
